ReplyDeleteand especially thanks for your great work.

Hi Bernat,
ReplyDeleteI have a problem with JDownloader 2, since the developers of have been made changes in the program, now the launcher (JDownloader2Portable) doesn't work well.
When I restart JDwonloader 2, and sometimes when it has updates, JDownloader 2 shows the following error:
_http://i2.minus.com/jQUUEAXu7gp4s.JPG
They don't update the istaller offline since 2012/07/31
but they create three installers online several days ago. Here you can look for those installers:
_http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=37365
Could you please fix the issue with the launcher.
Thanks for your great effort.
Kindest Regards,
I use JDownloader 2 daily and had never this problem.
ReplyDeleteWhen JD found updates: restart himself without problems.
I can't solve a problem I don't have.
Sorry Bernat, could you please restart JDownloader 2 manually?
ReplyDeleteOpen JD2==> go to the menu FILE, then select the option RESTART
When I do that I got the error.
Thanks a lot.
I have no error when restart.
ReplyDeleteTry Online installer in a new location.
Same launcher but download latest JDownloader.jar and update.
It's so fantastic. The online installer works fine.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, and thanks for your great effort, keep it up.
It runs fine. Many thanks for it.
ReplyDeleteCan I configure it, that it runs with 64Bit Java, which portable Version exists?
Azureus, Opera & PaleMoon use Java 64 bit if found.
ReplyDeleteIf you know others 64 bit portables using Java, let me know.
Sorry to bother you again.
ReplyDeleteI get this message:
"JRE Portable or Installed not found!"
when running both .9 or 2.0 jD.
My JRE is in (just installed from your site):
C:\Portable Apps\CommonFiles\Java
and
C:\Portable Apps\CommonFiles\Java_64
jD is in:
0.9 > C:\Portable Apps\JDownloader
2.0 > C:\Portable Apps\JDownloader2
I use Win8 Ent. x64.
Can you help me?
This is normal because you changed default folder name:
ReplyDeleteJDownloaderPortable and length (19 char.) is used to found parent folder.
You can put both version in same folder: all is independent.
Expected paths are:
\JDownloaderPortable\App\JDownloader\JDownloader.jar
\JDownloaderPortable\App\JDownloader2\JDownloader.jar
\JDownloaderPortable\JDownloaderPortable.exe
\JDownloaderPortable\JDownloader2Portable.exe
\CommonFiles\Java\bin\javaw.exe
This could be fixed by compiling new launchers using ${GetParent}.
Will be done on further update.
Merci beaucoup, Bernat!
ReplyDeleteNow both are running. And I use this note I found on the Web that helps me connect Waterfox to either JD .9 or JD 2:
In Firefox type about:config,
in search type flashgot
find flashgot.dmsopts.JDownloader.path
for me it contains D:\Soft\JDownloader2\JDownloader 2.exe
Double click, and type your exe, for example D:\Soft\JDownloader\JDownloader.exe
Thanks for all your works and untiring *free support*, Bernat! :)
Why Jdownloader program does not accept Java 8
ReplyDelete2.0 beta do accept Java 8
ReplyDeleteHi Bernat,
ReplyDeletecan you please share the sources of this app. I tried the online version but the online download does not work and I see that it has not been updated for a while and I like to continue to use the latest versions.
Thank you in advance
Even if it is a beta 2.0 is the best.
ReplyDeleteOnline installer tested and gave the latest build (31764 Mon Oct 12 2015).

I try to unistal and always wrote me that word i try to instal normaly, instal is be ok but if finish insatl Jd and i try to run again jump that window with this words can u help me someone? Thanks
ReplyDeleteNo problem with latest update for me.
ReplyDeleteProblem seems to be in your computer.
You ca try to:
- backup your settings (App\JDownloader2\cfg) folder
- Delete App folder
- Run online installer again
I have a little trouble..... i launch and JD works correctly.
ReplyDeleteIf i use Restart from file menu all it's works also if it's check new update or somethigs similar.
But when i close JD using EXIT at relaunch i obtain an errors say Another instance it's already running and i need to wait it's close.
Apparently on TASK MANAGER the JdownloadPortable.exe it's REMAIN in execution ever and for relaunch JD i need to terminate manually.
Because ?
No problem for me: JD take a few seconds to close (and also to launch).
ReplyDelete"But when i close JD using EXIT at relaunch i obtain an errors say Another instance it's already running and i need to wait it's close."
Only a few seconds: less I spent to answer.
