Download in same folder Portable OpenOffice Multilingual Setup Extractor (1.3 MB) 05/10/17
Select language and enter 4.1.15
Czech, German, Greek, English, Spanish, Basque, Finnish, French, Galician, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lithuanian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, PortugueseBR, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Serbian, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish, Vietnamese, SimpChinese, TradChinese

Extract and run OpenOffice*Portable.
Settings of installed OpenOffice should be preserved.

Can use Java Runtime Environment Portable

    Hi Bernat!

    AOO has been updated to v4.0.1.
    Unfortunately, your Setup Extractor works exclusively for previous version 4.0.0.
    Maybe you could update it to a version like this:

    OpenOffice_Portable_4.x.x_Multilingual_Setup_Extractor.exe

    so it could handle the latest and all future updates!

    The installer does not accept the traditional chinese version.

    Bernat has already stated this in the release notes; only SimpChinese is supported. If you can't use that,
    then Bernat would have to modify the extractor accordingly to add support for TradChinese (if possible...)

    How to update an existing installation of OpenOffice Portable? I have tried to put the extractor in different locations [in the same directory of the portable apps; in others] and receive always the message: "Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.2_Win_86_install_es.exe. was not found in...."

    First you MUST Download Windows Intel EXE in your language (Full Install Type) (˜ 130 MB).
    Then run extractor in same folder of downloaded setup.
    To update an existing installation of OpenOffice Portable select in browse screen the folder to update (usually :\PortableApps\OpenOfficePortable\)

    The installer doesn't download the remote installation files to local PC. When I try to run Office I get error: "soffice.exe was not found ...."

    Setups are now hosted by SourceForge.net and can't be downloaded by online installer.
    You can try to download Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.15_Win_x86_install_xx.exe on SourceForge and use online installer as setup extractor.

    Yes.
    xx is for your language selected in download page : for instance il you select English [US] downloaded file will be Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.15_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe
