You will carry the program with settings on removable drive and don't modify settings on host computer.
On Vista and above turn off User Account Control (UAC) or run launcher as admin.

Download MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_2.2.exe in same folder, select default language and enter 2.2
Extract and run MyPhoneExplorerPortable.
Settings of installed MyPhoneExplorer should be preserved.

Setup can't no more be downloaded by online installer: you must use you browser.
Hi! Downloaded both files to same folder, launched install.
Get the following message :
"MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.8.9.exe not found in ....\Downloads and download: File Not Found (404)"

You forgot v before 1.8.9
Hi Bernat, I used the installer as setup extractor because it fails during download. Also the download problem will be probably solved changing the filename in the link from:
MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.8.9.exe
to
MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_v1.8.9.exe
