A portable application can be run from a removable drive (USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, etc) on any Windows computer without installation.
You will carry the program with settings on removable drive and don't modify settings on host computer.
On Vista and above turn off User Account Control (UAC) or run launcher as admin.

Download Portable XnView Extended Online (0.3 MB) 06/09/18
Extract and run XnViewMPPortable or XnViewPortable.
Edit XnViewMPPortable.ini to set Cache:
Cache=Temp Cache set in Windows Temp folder deleted when leaving
Cache=Portable Cache set in Data
Settings of installed XnView should be preserved.

When I start XnViewMP it does not start. As I am using a x64 machine i started manually the xnview.exe in the x64 App folder and I got an "Access refused". I did it with the x86 it works fine. Any idea of what could go wrong?
No problem with XnviewMP 0.69 x64 on Windows 7 SP1 and Windoxs 8.
Try to reinstall.
XnViewMP x64 needs Visual C++ 2008 (x64)
