A portable application can be run from a removable drive (USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, etc) on any Windows computer without installation.

For Palemoon, you can also use the downloader to get Palemoon 12.3 revision 2 by entering "12.3r2" for version.

I get the error "Profile is still in use" when trying to restart Firefox after closing. It doesn't matter if I have exit FF properly or the hard way.
I've solved by creating a batch file that deletes the parent.lock file. Looks like this:

I think you don't use the latest launcher.
parent.lock is no more deleted by by Firefox when leaving so I removed the check few month ago.

- Does the opposite behavior works? For eg, if I click on a link in a mail in TB, does it open in FF portable? That would be really good.
- FF Portable 17.0B1 & B2 frozes with the last Flash 11.5.500.97beta. Is it also frozing with a non portable version? If no, what happens exactly?
- On Win8 & Win7 I pinned the FF & Portable icon on the taskbar. When I open it, it creates a new icon because I suppose the launcher is calling the the normal executable, so 2 different process.
Is it possible to get one simple icon for both? I know this happens for all the portable apps you have so as ppapps.com, but is there a trick I can use?

Download latest installers.
ı'm use latest version 16.0.1 but same error again....ı am back to version 12 cause no error...
"Download latest installers" don't mean download latest version of Firefox but download again Firefox_Portable_MultiVersion_Multilingual_Online.exe

I have admin rights.
The folders are fine.
I still have 4 icons instead of 2 when FF & TB are running.
The ini configuration is also fine (I added FirefoxAssociate & ThunderbirdAssociate).
I still can't open links from Thunderbird and the mailto links from FireFox are opened by the windows mail metro from Win8.
Is it because I'm using Earlybird instead of Thunderbird? Also FF & TB have to different profile name in the ini file.

Firefox Portable is behaving weirdly regarding going up & down in page using the keyboard. For Eg if I press the arrow down to scroll down in the page, FF goes to the end. Home button doesn't do anything. End just moves me down of a few lines then go back to the top.
I don't have this issue with FF Portable from Lbk or Papps. Any idea please?

Of course: Earlybird and Daily have no association to Firefox and this explain also why Firefox don't associate to Earlybird.

No way on your side to make Earlybird associate with Firefox the same way TB does? Else I guess I'll have to downgrade.
Solved the keyboard problem, the "caret browsing mode" was activated.

When I was looking to the files date, they were from the 5th of october while when I downloaded the zip packed version files were from the 28th as the 32bits version.
Maybe I did something wrong.

I try to make Nightly Portable installer (Offline and Online).

If user choose Offline Installer in first screen, the installer will extract firefox-$VER.en-US.win32.installer.exe and firefox-$VER.en-US.win64-x86_64.installer.exe from $EXEDIR.

And if user choose Online Installer, the installer will download Nightly Setup from the internet.
I think it's a good idea if user want to extract Nightly Portable but have been downloaded Nightly Setup, and don't want to redownload Nightly Setup again :D

Thanks I like Cyberfox better then Waterfox. I have a request. I see there is a Palemoon x86 and x64, how about a Firefox/Cyberfox combination? I have seen some problems with Palemoon that is why I do not use it.
If you want Cyberfox and Firefox using same profile, copy Cyberfox folder from CyberfoxPortable\App to FirefoxPortable\App and CyberfoxPortable.exe in FirefoxPortable.
